 How do I import data into QuickBooks using QODBC?

I just created a new company file and I am trying to move data from an old company file to the new one. I am new at this and I will appreciate any help on this.

QODBC can't really be used to copy a company file to another company file. However you can use QODBC to transfer Accounts, Customers, Vendors, Items, open invoices and bills to another company file. So all there's left to do within QuickBooks is to setup the opening balances.

You can start by looking at:
How can I create multiple lines in the Invoice, Purchase, Journal and other tables? 
How do I create a new Customer, invoice them and mark the invoice as paid? 
How do I add a Inventory Item using QODBC? 
How do I insert data into ItemNonInventory? 
How do I insert data into ItemService?  

Note: QuickBooks Reference Numbers are alpha-numeric, just make sure that if you use a alpha prefix, that you always end it with numbers.
